Dr. Regina Gordon, Ed.D., M.M., and B.Mus.Ed. has conducted choirs and taught music students of all ages, kindergarten through adult. She taught elementary, high school, undergraduate and graduate students in the public schools and colleges of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland, including University of the Arts, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and Haverford and Bryn Mawr colleges. At Immaculata University she conducts the Chorale, Men’s Glee Club and Madrigal Ensemble. Dr. Gordon has been the Minister of Music at Trinity Episcopal Church, Buckingham, Pennsylvania, since 1984 and the Artistic Director of the Abington Oratorio Choir since 1998.
She studied at Temple University, Westminster Choir College, the Aspen Choral Institute University of Colorado, Glassboro University and Immaculata University. She studied conducting with Robert Page, Joseph Flummerfelt, Dennis Shrock, Margaret Hillis, Alice Parker and Fiora Contino and sang under the baton of notable figures such as Robert Shaw, Robert Page and Roger Wagner. She coached and studied voice with Florence Berggren, Klara Meyers, Hye Young Choi, and Eleanor Steber.
Dr. Gordon’s choirs have performed for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association and the American Choral Director's Association, Eastern Division, as well as abroad for audiences in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Italy, winning prestigious awards both at home and abroad. Dr. Gordon is the immediate past president of the nearly 800-member American Choral Director's Association of Pennsylvania.
