Mrs. Sharon Potter

Sharon Potter is currently the Music Department Chair at Rosemont School of the Holy Child in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. Her duties include teaching fourth through eighth grade classroom music, directing the Middle School Chorus, Jazz Band, Handbell Choir, and Chamber Ensemble as well as administrating the school instrumental lesson program and working with the school liturgist in planning music for Mass and prayer services.
Mrs. Potter holds Levels I, II, and III of Orff-Schulwerk Certification. She has previously taught as a preschool music teacher, a public school K-8 classroom music and choral educator, a church musician, and an adjunct professor at Cabrini College, Neumann College, and for the Chester County Intermediate Unit.
Mrs. Potter served for six years in the elected position of Curriculum and Instruction State Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association. Mrs. Potter is a frequent clinician for local, state, and regional conferences and is currently serving as the Mentor Program Chair for PMEA.
