Donna Cooper is a talented harpist and exceptional performer. Donna started studying harp at age 9 under the guidance of Peggy Scott. Later studying with Elizabeth Cifani, she earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL and later a Master's in Music Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. She has been an active performer since 1988.
Ms. Cooper has performed in a variety of settings including Disney World, Carnegie Hall, the Kimmel Center, Europe and locally at many retirement communities, restaurants, gala events, various orchestras and church groups. She is a member of the flute and harp duo Melodic Accents, which has been pleasing audiences since 1995.
Ms. Cooper started her teaching career at Cary Junior High School in Cary, IL. Upon moving back to Pennsylvania, she was hired by the William Penn Charter School to create an instrumental music program. She teaches privately in the West Chester area and is currently an instrumental music director in the West Chester Area School District.
