Equally comfortable in classical, jazz and commercial styles, Jarred Antonacci has performed and recorded extensively in the Philadelphia/New York region. His orchestral and chamber experience includes performances with the Curtis Opera Orchestra, Wilmington Ballet Company, Lancaster Symphony, Reading Symphony, Monocacy Chamber Orchestra, Haverford Symphony, Lehigh Philharmonic, Curtis Institute of Music Brass Ensemble, Mainstreet Brass Quintet and Academy Brass Quintet.
An active commercial musician as well, Mr. Antonacci has played in theater orchestras at The University of the Arts, Media Theater, Temple University, Pennsylvania Playhouse and Lehigh University as well as backing up notable artists such as Aretha Franklin and Percy Sledge. Antonacci also played in the pit orchestra for the national tour of A Chorus Line in Philadelphia (2008) and at the DuPont Theater in Wilmington (2010).
In 2009, Mr. Antonacci played principal trombone in the Monocacy Chamber Orchestra for the Naxos recording/release of Paul Salerni’s award-winning one-act opera, Tony Caruso's Final Broadcast. Antonacci's additional recording credits include a variety of singer/songwriter projects and several Philadelphia-based jazz ensembles. Mr. Antonacci holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of the Arts and a Master of Music degree from Temple University.
