Weekly Service Opportunities

After School Pals (Wednesday)

Visit St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in West Philadelphia to spend time with the students of the Rosebush After Care Program, helping them with homework, playing outside, and working on life skills.

Chester County Food Bank (Tuesday)

Serve in the kitchen and warehouse facilities of the Chester County Food Bank in a variety of ways, including preparing and packing fresh food for local families in need.

Coatesville Kids to College (Monday)

Tutor and mentor middle school students from the Coatesville Area School District.

Camilla Hall Visits (Scheduled Thursday)

Visit and socialize with the retired IHM Sisters who reside in Camilla Hall.


Service and Mission Trips

Alternative Break Urban Immersion (Salesian Service Experience, Camden NJ)

Campus Ministry, with funding from SAF, sponsors a two-night, three-day trip to Camden, NJ to work with the Oblates of St. Francis DeSales. The experience will include prayer, reflection, Mass and service. Service opportunities will include distributing food at a food pantry, serving the homeless, and spending time with at-risk children.

Habitat for Humanity Alternative Spring Break, Collegiate Challenge

During spring break, students from Immaculata University travel to a participating Habitat for Humanity Chapter and help build homes and participate in service projects in the community.


IU Work Crew, New Orleans Katrina Relief

Students from Immaculata University have been traveling to New Orleans to aid in Katrina Relief every year since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. We have partnered with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, the St. Bernard Project, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the New Orleans Mission to work on projects including gutting and building homes, sorting food donations and serving food to the homeless of the city.
