A formal letter of acceptance from Immaculata University will indicate that all admission requirements have been met.
A Certificate of Eligibility (I-20) is issued to the student who has shown intent to enroll. This can be done by sending in the deposit of $500 for students wishing to live on campus and $250 for students not planning to live on campus.
The Certificate of Eligibility must be presented to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate along with a passport and the Immaculata University acceptance letter when applying for the F-1 visa. Applicants should be prepared to provide proof of residence abroad to which they intend to return after completion of studies.
The Certificate of Eligibility (I-20) will indicate the length of time the student will be granted for study in the United States. The student’s passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the date of completion of studies.
In order to transfer to Immaculata University from another institution within the United States, students are required to complete a transfer verification form. They should submit that form to their DSO (designated school official) who will, in turn, transmit their SEVIS record to Immaculata electronically.
