Admission for the doctoral program in school psychology is available three times each year, January, May and September. Application deadlines are: June 1 for Fall, November 1 for Spring, and March 1 for Summer. Qualified applicants must satisfy one of the following criteria:
- Possess a master's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum 3.0 (B) grade point average and School Psychology certification.
- Possess a master's degree in the fields of psychology, education, social work, sociology, or human development from an accredited institution with a minimum 3.0 (B) grade point average.
- Possess a bachelor's degree in psychology or related field with a minimum of 12 credits in psychology from an accredited institution with a minimum 3.3 grade point average.
Applicants are required to submit all materials except the MAT or GRE General Test score ( see information below) in a single large envelope. A complete application for admission will include the following:
- A completed application form with $50.00 application fee (please make check payable to Immaculata).
- Official transcript(s) of your academic record from each undergraduate and graduate school attended. An official transcript verifying completion of prerequisite degrees and a copy of school psychology certification are required. Official transcripts should be forwarded to you from the school registrar(s). Request that the school enclose the transcript(s) in a sealed envelope, with the registrar's name signed across the seal. Official transcripts must remain confidential. Do not open the envelope containing your official envelope when it is returned to you. If the seal has been broken on the envelope, your entire application will be returned to you.
- Three completed reference forms appraising your capacity for doctoral study. Note: Complete and sign the top portion of the reference form and forward it with an envelope to the individual who will be providing your reference. Write your name and address on the envelope, and when it has been returned to you, return the sealed envelope with the rest of your application materials. References must remain confidential. Do not open references returned to you for submission with your application.
- Goals Statement: a two page, double spaced, typed and signed statement of your philosophy of education and your goals as they relate to school psychology.
- Official score reports for the Miller Analogies Test (MAT), Graduate Record Examination (GRE), or TOEFL are sent directly to the College of Graduate Studies by the testing center.

- International students must send the official TOEFL score directly to the College of Graduate Studies. See #8 under Admission Master's Program.
