International students should observe the requirements for their admission status, freshman or transfer, in addition to the following requirements:
Completed secondary school and have not enrolled in a regular session at any college or university.
Completed some coursework - 24 or more credits - at the collegiate level (post-secondary).
Transfer students who have attained fewer than 24 college credits will need to provide the following:
A formal letter of acceptance from Immaculata University will indicate that all admissions requirements have been met.
A Certificate of Eligibility (I-20) is issued to the student who has shown intent to enroll. This can be done by sending in the deposit of $500 for students wishing to live on campus and $250 for students not planning on living on campus. The Certificate of Eligibility must be presented to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate along with a passport and the Immaculata University acceptance letter when applying for the F-1 visa.
Applicants should be prepared to provide proof of residence abroad to which they intend to return after completion of studies.
The Certificate of Eligibility (I-20) will indicate the length of time the student will be granted for study in the United States. The student’s passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the date of completion of studies.
