Dear Members of the Immaculata Community,
Every ten years, colleges and universities in our region undergo a self-study to insure that they are meeting the criteria set forth by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education through the Standards of Excellence. Immaculata University is scheduled to have the Middle States Peer Review Team visit from March 24th to 27th, 2014. This two year process began with the selection of the Co-chairs and the Steering Committee for the Self-Study. Under this leadership, the Self-Study Report will be written and be presented to the Peer Review Team. The report will incorporate how Immaculata University is in compliance with the Standards of Excellence put forth by The Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Standards of Excellence can be viewed at http://www.msche.org/publications/CHX-2011-WEB.pdf.
During the past two years, the Steering Committee has researched and identified relevant issues of the university and the most appropriate means of addressing these issues as well as citing the accomplishments of Immaculata University in the past ten years. Input from all areas of the IU community has been utilized. Many changes have occurred and there has been growth in all areas of the university. We are proud of what we have accomplished and excited for what we envision for our future. Please read the most current draft of the Self-Study Report to view the results of our findings. Please send any comments to the co-chairs - Dr. Maria Cuddy-Casey (email@example.com) or Mrs. Barbara Gallagher (firstname.lastname@example.org).
