The Draper Walsh Stadium, named in honor of trustee, Mimi Draper Walsh '63, is the site of soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey games.
This facility, designed by Archer & Buchanan Architecture, is the centerpiece of a larger West Campus Athletic District and includes grandstand seating for 1,000, spectator amenities, new walkways, walkway lighting and landscaping to connect to the greater campus area.
The synthetic playing surface is emblazoned with the Mighty Macs logo. Concession stands, home and visitor team pavilions, training rooms, and storage areas add to the convenience and function of the stadium. A computerized scoreboard looms above, and high intensity lighting facilitates practice and night games.
Once spectators are seated, they are graced with a beautiful, scenic view back toward the iconic domes of the central campus’s Villa Maria Hall and Chapel.
