Immaculata University continues the development of its athletics program with the construction of a new baseball field as well as an adjacent parking lot to accommodate the growing number of visitors to the campus.
Designed by AUM Architecture, a Harrisburg firm, and Sports Planners, located in Kansas City, MO, the new baseball field will be constructed in the "Athletics District" of Immaculata University, next to the recently completed softball field. It will feature a handicap-accessible grandstand, which will be able to seat up to 688 spectators. Sitting atop the grandstand will be a press box for use during the games. In addition, a restroom & storage facility has been planned to be situated adjacent to both the baseball field and the previously constructed softball field. Specially constructed netting behind home plate will allow for the best viewing experience. Recessed dugouts and bullpens beyond the outfield wall complete this beautifully designed field.
