Assistant Director of Academic Success Services
Immaculata University seeks a qualified professional to work as Assistant Director of Academic Success Services in support of the services and activities of the Academic Success Center serving primarily students in the College of Undergraduate Studies. The Assistant Director will advise, counsel, and help students meet their academic goals. In addition, the Assistant Director will serve as a resource for students in the areas of academic coaching, academic accommodations, tutoring and addressing academic concerns, all while collaborating with other departments to encourage student success and retention.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist students with setting academic goals, time management and other academic skills through regular academic coaching sessions.
- Support Director of Academic Success Services with all aspects of First-Year Experience Program, which includes the coordination of the faculty lecture series, common reader, service trip and FYE course.
- Assist with the curriculum development and instruction of two courses, First Year Experience (FYE 100/110) and Strategies for Academic Success (SAS 100).
- Help with the review of medical documentation; conferences with students and parents; and implementation of academic accommodations.
- Support tutoring program and supervision of student employees as needed.
- Represent the Academic Success Center in the Academic Review Committee (ARC) process with the Admissions department.
- Coordinate departmental assessment efforts in accordance with the institutional assessment cycle.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in higher education, counseling, education, or related field supplemented with at least one (1) to three (3) years of experience required. Selected candidate must possess strong counseling and interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills. Director of Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations
This position is responsible for generating support for Immaculata University by building and sustaining strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, government organizations and officials.
