The President is Immaculata’s Chief Executive Officer and reports directly to the Board of Trustees. Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing the Housekeeping staff in maintaining and exceeding the highest quality standards on a daily basis. These standards should be met by leading, training, developing, communicating, and motivating the staff whereby the results that are achieved are in accordance with goals and objectives, performance and quality standards established by the department.   

This position is considered essential personnel. Must have flexibility in working all shifts, overtime, and holidays.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of housekeeping experience in a large institution is preferred, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience in work connecting with housekeeping, sanitation, and maintenance services.
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs, multitask, and change goals and direction quickly as required.
  • The ability to shovel and plow snow.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage the work of others on a daily basis.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and is insurable.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain effective relations with management team and fellow employees.
  • Ability to follow and apply safety rules and regulations for job assignments and equipment used.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds and climb a 6-foot ladder.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of floor cleaning equipment.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • Willing to be trained as required.

Systems Analyst

Immaculata University has a partnership with Ellucian for support of its administrative applications.  The Systems Analyst would be employed by Ellucian and work on campus at Immaculata University. The Systems Analyst will provide requirements analysis, software design, application development, implementation, integration, and maintenance for Ellucian Banner and associated administrative systems.  Duties and responsibilities include design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions based on defined requirements and according to institutional and industry standards, use reporting tools and programming languages to design and develop reports, perform systems analysis for new business processes and business process improvement, design and implement automated batch processes, implement solutions in the student information system, maintain and enhance existing solutions and document changes, troubleshoot technical problems and errors encountered by users, develop and maintain integration between various administrative systems, manage and perform Banner system upgrades and related projects, provide end-user operational support and satisfy ad hoc requests for data, recommend and implement best practices with regard to the institution’s administrative systems, and review system documentation prepared by others for completeness and correctness.

Immaculata University is seeking applicants for the position of Web Systems Administrator.  The Web Systems Administrator will utilize technical knowledge and experience and an understanding of the university’s issues and concerns to provide technical administration services for the University’s website.  Reporting directly to the Manager of Technical Support, the responsibilities of the Web System Administrator include: perform administration & maintenance duties and provide support for the following Web applications including but not limited to: Drupal, WordPress, and Microsoft SharePoint.   Collaborates and supports University Communications' efforts in maintaining the University website and assisting the SharePoint Administrator with maintaining our campus portal.  Establishes web system specifications by analyzing access, information, and security requirements.  Maintains web system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, escalating application problems to vendor. The ideal candidate has the ability to work and participate in a team environment and strong communication and customer service skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Studies or other technical discipline

This position will perform tasks related to maintaining and improving Immaculata University's grounds, grounds equipment and facilities mechanical systems in order to provide a safe, functional, and attractive environment for the campus community and visitors. Work may be assigned independently or as a member of a work team. This position is considered essential and will require the candidate to work some nights and weekends to assist with campus emergencies such as snow, flooding, or storm clean up. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to safely and effectively operate heavy machinery such as tractors/loaders, dump trucks, plow trucks, and other equipment and perform minor equipment repairs as needed.  Additional responsibilities include lawn care, landscape, and waste pick-up.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid driver's license. Subject to MVR check.
  • Ability to lift and carry items wighing 50 lbs.
