International Students
In addition to the standard admissions requirements, international students need to submit the following to the College of LifeLong Learning.
English Language Requirement
The university’s language requirement can be satisfied by successful completion of one of the below tests:
- OPTION 1: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); TOEFL score of 500 (paper-based) or 200 (computer-based) is required for admission. Information regarding TOEFL can be obtained by contacting the Educational Testing Services (ETS): http://www.toefl.org.
- OPTION 2: Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency.
International Transcripts
Official transcripts from any college/university the student might have attended must be evaluated by World Education Services, Inc. (WES). A WES evaluation also is required of a high school transcript if it is not in English. Find out more at the WES web site.
