Admission Requirements
Degree Seeking Students
Students wishing to be admitted to the IU online BA program need to meet the following requirements:- Completion of an application for admission
- Payment of $50 application fee
- Submission of official transcripts from colleges/universities previously attended
- Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher
- A minimum of 30 credits from a regionally accredited college/university up to a recommended 60 credits
- Completion of at least three credits in English Composition
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
There are additional application requirements for International Students
Non-Matriculated Students
Only students enrolled in an online BA program are allowed to register for the accelerated online major courses. Students wishing to take online liberal arts or elective courses for enrichment or for transfer to other colleges must submit an application for admission form. If any of the courses the student wishes to take has a prerequisite, an official transcript showing successful completion of the prior course also is needed.
