Giving to the Immaculata Fund

What is the Immaculata Fund?

The Immaculata Fund is an unrestricted source of income that gives Immaculata the opportunity to allocate funds where the need is greatest. Currently, tuition provides only 75% of the total cost of running the school. To raise the remaining portion and to provide an affordable education, Immaculata relies on the generosity of alumnae/i, parents, friends, faculty and staff to give to the annual fund each year.

Each gift to the Immaculata Fund helps to support faculty salaries and research, financial aid, technological advances, and student life, as well as facilities maintenance and renovation.

The Immaculata Fund provides the flexibility needed to meet the daily challenges of providing a quality education and to maintain our tradition of academic excellence.

Why should I give back to Immaculata?

  • To give back to the Institution that gave so much to you. Your support, whether new or continued, is your opportunity to help a new generation of Immaculata students afford the quality education you experienced.
  • To help Immaculata continue its tradition of academic excellence. Immaculata provides its students with an excellent values-based education which serves them well in their professional and personal lives. Contributions, in any amount, represent your connection to Immaculata and its current students.
  • To make a difference. EVERY gift does make a difference! Your participation in the Immaculata Fund is a commitment to Immaculata and affirms what we do. Many corporations and charitable foundations consider the percentage of alumnae/i giving when considering a grant to Immaculata. The higher our participation rate, the more we receive from outside resources.

Why are unrestricted gifts important?

They allow Immaculata the flexibility to respond immediately to challenges and opportunities when they arise.

May I give for a specific purpose?

Yes. Although the Immaculata Fund primarily seeks unrestricted funds in order to address urgent needs, we will be happy to help you direct your gift towards a specific department or area of interest.

How do I give to the Annual Fund?

Cash: Send a check or money order made payable to the Immaculata University Immaculata Fund, or simply specify the amount you would like to pledge on the business reply envelope from a recent mailing you have received. Your pledge will be booked upon receipt and a reminder will be mailed to you in acknowledgment.

What is the University’s Fiscal Year?

Immaculata’s fiscal year is from July 1 to June 30. While many gifts may be pledged and paid over several years, gifts to the Immaculata Fund should be paid in full by June 30.

Immaculata University is a Catholic, comprehensive, coeducational institution founded by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
