Summer Institute I:  Leadership for Institutional Agility and Change (6 credits)

Offered at Dixon University Center, Harrisburg, PA

This certificate combines courses in change and innovation in higher education with administration, giving you the opportunity to explore theories, systems, structures, and processes needed today for institutions to succeed in serving their diverse students in our rapidly changing educational environment. You will complete this institute with new knowledge, increased leadership capacity, and renewed energy.

 

Summer Institute II:  Best Practices in Access, Retention, and Completion (6 credits)

Offered at Immaculata University's campus

Completion rates and time-to-completion are two of the most significant and widely discussed issues facing higher education today. The two courses in this certificate will explore key principles, theories, current best practices, and innovations in enrollment management and student services designed to support equal access and student success. You will walk away with increased knowledge, improved skills, new ideas, and specific implementation strategies.

 

Summer Institute III: Innovative College Teaching for Student Success (6 credits)

Offered at Montgomery Community College University Center, Blue Bell, PA

This certificate will equip you to implement research-based best practices in 21st century learning-centered pedagogies and assessment strategies to increase student learning and educa­tional effectiveness.  Theories and skills developed will be applicable in face-to-face, hybrid, and online environments.

 

Admission Requirements

For admission to the summer institute certificate program, you must have a master’s degree and some experience teaching in a college setting.
