Swimsuit Ready?

Are you swimsuit ready this summer? When you go out and purchase a swimsuit, what exactly do you look for? Are you more interested in fit and comfort? Or do you prefer to shop for style? According to Instyle Magazine, “The best bathing suits aren’t always practical.” There are so many memorable swimsuits through the time periods that are remembered for their style, rather than their practicality. Some of these bathing suits would never have lasted in the water. Instyle Magazine compiled a list of the most memorable swimsuits.

1. Brigitte Bardot, The Girl in The Bikini, 1952
2. Deborah Kerr, From Here to Eternity, 1953–The bathing suit was sexy and structured. It included a wide waist-clinching belt.
3. Elizabeth Taylor, Suddenly, Last Summer, 1959
4. Ursula Andress, Dr. No, 1962

  1. I honestly hate bathing suit shopping. I am not sure what it is but I can never find the right fit. I love Target bathing suits because they are affordable and always cute. I also like Victoria Secret bathing suits too but they can be expensive. I can be, super picky, which might be part of the problem. However, when I do go shopping I want/look for something fun, memorable, and different. I don’t just buy a bathing suits to “just buy”. I will spend a good amount of money if I know the material will last me awhile.
