Course Delivery Formats
In the College of LifeLong Learning, you may complete your degree requirements in a variety of combined instructional formats depending upon your major.
In the self-paced delivery format, you may take as many as 18 credits per semester or as few as one. Depending on the semester, some courses are offered face-to-face, during the day, in the evening, or online. While most courses are 15 weeks in length, a number of courses can be completed in a seven-week accelerated format.
The accelerated delivery format allows you to design a customized schedule that involves both classroom and online courses. Courses taught in a blended format will be completed in a seven- to eight-week timeframe. Accelerated programs are cohort-based, and courses meet one evening per week for four hours. The major requirements can generally be completed in two years. Additional time may be required to fulfill liberal arts and elective requirements.
Experience the flexibility of a fully online, accelerated format while receiving the same services and personal connections that are hallmarks of an Immaculata education.
