Who is Eligible?

All students who have been accepted as degree-seeking individuals or individuals pursuing post-baccalaureate teacher certification, school nurse certification or dietary verification are eligible to apply for financial aid. Federal and state funds are awarded to U.S. citizens and permanent resident aliens.

Individuals must be enrolled at least part-time, considered six semesters, to be eligible for state grant and federal loan eligibility.

How Do I Apply?

  1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). These forms are in libraries, Financial Aid Offices, or you can call 1-800-4-FED-AID. An electronic version of the FAFSA is on the web at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. When you complete the FAFSA, be sure to indicate that the form be sent to Immaculata University, code number 003276.

The FAFSA is available each year in November for the next fall.

Submit the FAFSA form as soon as possible after January 1st
In order to qualify for the full range of financial aid programs, we recommend that students complete the FAFSA by March 1.
Students who wish to be considered for Pennsylvania State Grant funds are required to submit the FAFSA prior to May 1. The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency Grant Division strictly enforces this deadline.

  2. Complete the Immaculata Institutional Financial Aid Application. See below for link to all Immaculata University financial aid forms.

Verification of Financial Aid Data

The federal government requires all colleges to assure the accuracy of information submitted by a minimum of 30 percent of all students receiving financial aid. Immaculata University verifies all students selected by the federal government. If selected, you will receive a letter indicating you have been selected for verification and requesting that you complete an institutional verification form and return it with copies of student and parental signed federal income tax returns (including all schedules and W-2 forms). Upon receipt of the requested information, the data will be analyzed and corrected if necessary.

Should you have questions about financial aid, please contact a financial aid counselor. Students are assigned to counselors based on the first letter of their last name:
