West Campus Housing
A steady growth in undergraduate enrollment over the last few years has created a demand for more beds on campus, where residents can most benefit from the many social and sports activities on campus. Of course, many students would also like to have housing options available beyond that of the traditional dorm room, such as apartment style units as might be found in the community at large.
In response to the need for more beds and the desire for apartment-style living, Immaculata University will begin constructing new suite-style housing pods in a phased approach, with the first two buildings slated for occupancy in mid-August 2014. Located on campus, in a beautiful wooded area just behind Parking Lot B, these new facilities will offer an ideal college lifestyle.
The final designs depict intimately scaled three story buildings, arranged in a village-like cluster, typically accessible from a dramatic bridged entry at the mid-level. Each fully furnished suite will feature four or five private bedrooms (single occupancy), a complete kitchen including dishwasher, an open dining and living area with a wall-mounted flat-screen television, and compartmentalized bathrooms. Each building will also include a shared laundry area and other facilities.
