The Industrial Aspect

   In 1976, two men, Herb Boyer and Bob Swanson, started Genetech, Inc., a new type of
company.  Based on the new DNA technology, these two men started a company that works at a quick pace to develop medical breakthroughs, such as cures for diseases.  Its mission is to protect human life through the use of new pharmaceutical products.  Today, Genetech, Inc. celebrates its twenty-five years of work and dedication towards the betterment of human life.
