Sister Jeannine earned an M.A. in religious studies from St. Charles Seminary; an M.A. in counseling psychology from Immaculata; and an M.A. in human development and a Ph.D. in applied developmental psychology from Fordham University. Sister Jeannine joined the faculty in 1995. She received her certification as a spiritual director from the Archdiocesan Spirituality Center in Rye, New York. She is a nationally certified counselor (N.C.C.) and a licensed professional counselor (L.P.C.) in Pennsylvania. Sister is an active member in the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Pennsylvania Counseling Association (PCA).
 
Sister moderates the Beta Mu Chapter of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society International. She has written and presented on the topics of faith and moral development; adolescent development, spirituality and aging; the importance of perceived personal control for elders; factors that contribute to nursing home residents' well-being; and the use of reality therapy to assess and respond to the needs of care-givers as well as care-receivers.
