The Organizational & Leadership Coaching Program is designed for:

  • Current & emerging leaders who want to expand their performance management skills and increase leadership effectiveness
  • Organizational leaders seeking a career transition to build on previous experience
  • Coaches certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) who want to add to current skills to work with leaders in an organizational context
  • Experienced human resource and performance management professionals who want to add to their competencies
  • Current coaches and consultants who want to increase their capacity to shape their own destiny
  • Those who wish to prepare for International Coach Federation (ICF) accreditation

 

Curriculum & Course Delivery

The Organizational & Leadership Coaching Certificate will be offered each fall and spring semester as a stand-alone certificate.  Nine of the 10 credits earned may also be applied toward the M.A. in Organization Leadership. 

The certificate’s six-course cohort-style program is delivered both face-to-face and online with either a fall or spring start.  You will meet with ICF-accredited coaches one weekend per month, including Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.  To earn your certificate, you will take five credits each semester.

COA 620 Coaching Practicum I *                                                  2 credits                 9/27-11/17

*Practicum hours are integrated with the courses and schedule listed below.  The practicum includes supervision, student coaching practice and student professional effectiveness throughout the program.

COA 623 Coaching in Organizations                                            1 credit                   10/25, 26, 27

COA 624 Coaching Breakthroughs                                               1 credit                   11/15, 16, 17
