• Applicants to the Nutrition and Dietetics Graduate Program are required to have a bachelor’s degree in nutrition or a related field. Students applying to the Dietetic Internship must also complete the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics academic prerequisites (DPD verification)
• Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Completion of the graduate admissions application. Students applying to the Dietetic Internship should check the Dietetic Internship application information for more details.
• DPD verification or prerequisite course work including:
  • General Chemistry with laboratory
  • Organic Chemistry with laboratory
  • Biochemistry with laboratory
  • Nutrition (with an organic chemistry prerequisite)
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Microbiology
  • Statistics

As deemed necessary, students may be required to take undergraduate courses to meet these admission requirements prior to acceptance into the graduate program.
