Requirements for admission to the College of LifeLong Learning and the ACCEL program in nursing include the following:

Current R.N. licensure; graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing program

In addition to the R.N. to B.S.N. Nursing Program, you must have successfully completed the following courses in order to graduate. It is strongly recommended that you take these courses prior to starting the nursing program.

3 credits in English composition

3 credits in sociology
-
3 credits in psychology
-
3 credits in lifespan development
-
6-8 credits in anatomy and physiology
-
3-4 credits in microbiology
-
3-4 credits in chemistry
-
3 credits in nutrition
-
Grade point average of 2.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale for previous college work

Submit a copy of current licensure, a record of physical examination, and current CPR certification.

Schedule an interview appointment with a counselor who will review with you all the credits needed for completion of your degree.

Request an official transcript from each college/university and hospital school of nursing you previously attended.

Complete an application for undergraduate admission
Transferring Credits
Previously earned credits from a regionally accredited two- or four-year college or university may be transferred to Immaculata. A formal evaluation of your transcripts determines the number of credits that will be accepted and applied to your degree.
To transfer credits, you must:

Arrange for official transcripts to be sent to the College of LifeLong Learning

Have earned a grade of "C" or better

Use approved translation service when submitting foreign transcripts

Provide course descriptions and/or a catalog if requested
