Students attend classes one night or one day per week, on a year-round basis, with a week off for holidays and a Christmas break. The ACCEL way of delivering education offers specific benefits to the adult student:
- Completion of the ACCEL Nursing Program in less than two years. (Note: more courses may be required for graduation based on the number of credits transferred in to Immaculata.)
- Attendance only one evening (6-10 p.m.) or one day (9 a.m.-1 p.m.) per week. Students attend with a cohort on the same day for the entire length of the program.
- Interaction with a small group of fellow learners; peer support in a seminar environment; honing of leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Thirty credits are offered for students' R.N. Credits earned in other colleges and universities can be transferred. In some cases, credit for prior learning (life experience) is available.
