Program Overview

The Division of Nursing offers a 12 graduate credit certificate in nursing education, available in a hybrid delivery format that includes both face-to-face classroom meetings and online requirements. This certificate provides an excellent opportunity for master’s prepared nurses who wish to assume educational positions in health care or academic settings for career advancement and for a broader foundation for doctoral studies.

Applicants must already have an earned Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) to enroll in this certificate program.

*The elective must be taken at the graduate level with the approval of an academic advisor.

Admission Requirements

If you have completed an M.S.N. from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0, you may apply for this certificate.

You will also participate in an official interview with the director of the M.S.N. program and/or a faculty member.
