McCarrick-Dix contributed a chapter on children’s behavioral and interpersonal problems to the book Guidelines for Music Therapy Practice in Developmental Health. Since 1997, she has worked as a special education teacher and music therapist at Bucks County Intermediate Unit, creating music therapy programs for adolescents with traumatic brain injuries and children with autism, emotional and behavioral disorders, and developmental delays.
