M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with School Counseling

Immaculata's 60-credit Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with Elementary or Secondary School Counseling certification has changed to a 72-credit Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with School Counseling certification for grades PreK-12. The new program reflects changes to requirements for school counselor certification as mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and is designed to meet CACREP (Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) curriculum standards. The program is also in alignment with the requirements for the State of Pennsylvania’s professional counselor licensure (LPC).

School Counseling PreK-12 is available as a stand-alone certificate for students who already hold a master's degree.
