M.A. in Educational Leadership + Online Instruction Endorsement

Program Overview

Immaculata's M.A. in Educational Leadership combined with an Online Instruction endorsement will empower you to contribute to your school's effectiveness in its ethical practices and conduct by enabling you to collaborate with other professionals and parents, to use community resources, and to work as an advocate to improve opportunities for student learning.

This 36-credit program allows you to study on a part-time basis, taking a combination of evening and hybrid classes.

Learning Outcomes

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the basic foundations and current best practices set in the 21st century, using scientifically based instructional strategies.
  • Develop and implement instructional strategies that will engage students, build a strong community of learners, and provide regular and appropriate feedback with student and teacher reflections.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of ethical, legal and safe behavior when working in the online classroom.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Universal Design for Learning in order to accommodate all students in the online classroom, providing a variety of methods of assessing for mastery of content.
  • Complete 45 hours of online experiences in multiple roles within distance education that are closely integrated with coursework, assessment practices and program goals.
