Program Overview

Immaculata's Bachelor of Science in Business Leadership will prepare you with management and analytical skills for today’s business environment in both the profit and non-profit sectors. In a rapidly changing, globalized environment, this accelerated, online degree-completion program for adult undergraduates will equip you to practice vision-driven leadership and innovation. You will explore leadership theories and develop your own leadership style, enabling you to communicate more effectively, manage change initiatives, understand group dynamics, and lead high-performing teams.

You will gain a solid foundation in accounting, finance, and marketing, while also developing the intellectual agility and leadership skills that employers seek. Courses will introduce you to the principles of project management, process improvement, risk management, digital communication, and cybersecurity. You will expand your skills in information technology, learning to use major business software programs and social networking applications.

Career Potential

Over the next several years, employment opportunities in the business and financial sector are expected to increase. Median salary range for these professions ranged from approximately $50,000 to $90,000 in 2016 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Graduates of this program are well suited for leadership and management positions across numerous industries. The program is also excellent preparation for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Immaculata’s Master of Science in Management and Leadership.

Credit for Prior Learning

You may obtain college credit for learning through life experience. Military training and education, technical and professional programs, and testing through exams such as CLEP or DANTES (Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support) are acceptable ways of earning college credits for prior learning. Each student’s experiences are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Financial aid programs are available to eligible students through the University’s Financial Aid Office. All prospective students are encouraged to complete a FAFSA application (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
