For the traditional day program, all courses for the degree, including both major requirements and the academic core, can be completed in four years by following a course plan for the program.

For the evening accelerated or online program, courses required for the major may be completed in two years by taking nine credits per semester in the fall, spring and summer.

150 Credit Hour Option

Before graduating, students may elect to finish 150 credit hours that would meet the academic requirements for the Certified Public Accounting exam. Students complete both ACC 314 and ACC 317 instead of only one of these courses, and additional electives are recommended, including International Finance and Business Law II.  Traditional day students may finish this 150 credit hour option in a four-year program of study with strong academic engagement each semester and by taking three courses during summer sessions.
