Your higher education significantly increases your marketability and your earning potential. College graduates have much better employment prospects than candidates without a bachelor’s degree. Your degree will give you a solid understanding of business practices and the skills for decision making and conflict resolution. You will have a working knowledge of global markets, foreign cultures, and business organizations, and the analytical skills to make economic and social decisions.

In addition, a business administration, accounting, and/or finance degree prepares you for further training as a certified financial planner (CFP), a chartered financial consultant (ChFC), or a chartered financial analyst (CFA).   Many of our students pursue minors in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics to add depth to their career opportunities. The majors and minors in our department not only prepare our students for an exciting career, but also for graduate work in a number of fields.
