Shingle has taught at Immaculata for over 18 years, first as an adjunct and then as a full-time faculty beginning in the fall of 2005. She teaches Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, and Genetics and has long been a proponent of undergraduate student research. Her own research investigates factors which influence cellular aging at the molecular level.
