The minor in Studio Art explores the fundamental principles of color, design, and composition through creative expression and experimentation. You are encouraged to considered the practical application of your artistic talents when career planning. Educators, public relations coordinators, print and visual media specialists, librarians, museum curators, art or cultural group adminstrators, retail managers, publication and advertisting personnel are a few examples of professions needing people with artistic skills. Combining Studio Art with a major in Psychology is preparation for graduate study in Art Therapy.
