Alpha Psi Omega Alpha Psi Omega

A national honorary dramatic fraternity founded in 1925. Iota Nu Chapter was established at Immaculata University on September 8, 1944 to encourage and foster dramatic activity. The aim of the fraternity is to develop dramatic talent, to cultivate a taste for the best in drama through study in course and collateral reading, and to encourage the writing and production of plays. Eligibility for membership is determined by a national point system. Election to Iota Nu Chapter is a recognition and a reward for notable achievement.  

 

Sigma Tau Delta honor society

Sigma Tau Delta

An international collegiate honor society for students of English. Candidates for undergraduate membership in Immaculata's chapter, Alpha Phi Sigma, must have completed a minimum of two college courses in English language or literature beyond the usual requirements in freshman English. A 3.0 average overall and in the major is required for membership. Benefits include conference participation, publication opportunities, and scholarships.

on students and private and public

colleges and universites. As an accredited member of the Assoc

iation of College Honor Societies,

Lambda Pi Eta recognizes, fosters, and rewards outstanding schol

astic achievement while

stimulating interest in the field of communication and promoti

ng professional development among

communication majors. To be invited into the society and chapte

r, undergraduate students must

complete 60 semester credit hours and have a minimum overall c

umulative GPA of 3.0. They must

also complete the equivalent of 12 semester credit hours and h

ave a GPA of 3.25 in the

communication major.
