OBJECTIVES

  • Introduce students to the critical analysis of film, a central form of visual culture.
  • Enrich student knowledge of film as a form of artistic creation.
  • Provide students with the opportunity to connect film with other forms of humanistic inquiry, such as literature, history, and psychology.
