"Hearing real-life experiences from my professors who were business professionals at one point in their lives was beyond helpful. I learned that they started out at the bottom of companies like I soon would, and worked their way up to managers, executive positions and even ownership positions within business industries. Graduating with a marketing degree, I feel as though my education provided me with the skills and knowledge to adapt to any role within a business organization. The professors at IU want to see you succeed and will go the extra mile to look for internships or help you network and ultimately set you up for success after graduation."

Students enjoy entrepreneurial and networking opportunities through Enactus and can participate in the Business Club, which publishes a semi-annual newsletter and tours companies to learn about business operations. Students also gain valuable knowledge from successful business professionals who serve as guest presenters.

The ability to gain hands-on experience is provided by completing a business internship and associated practicum course that connects course material with the business world. Working adults typically use their work experience in place of the internship.

Immaculata’s Bachelor of Science in marketing management will provide you with a working knowledge of global markets, foreign cultures, and business organizations, and the analytical skills to make economic and operating decisions. Possible career options include marketing operations, sales representative, market research analyst, advertising manager, product management, and marketing manager.
