ADVISING STUDENTS TRANSITIONING BETWEEN MAJORS

Academic advisors are here to assist you at all points along your collegiate journey by providing general advice and guidance, regardless of your class year or major.

If you are in the process of transitioning between majors, the Academic Advisement Office, located at 26 Villa Maria, lends additional support to help you explore majors that are more suited to your skills and talents, which assists you in getting back on your Pathway to Success.

In collaboration with other Pathways offices, such as the Office of Career and Professional Development, academic advisors will work one-on-one with you as you explore other options and find a major that is the right fit for you. Advisors will also help you decide on an academic course plan that will enable you to enroll in classes that interest you while satisfying liberal arts core requirements, which helps you keep on track to graduation.
