Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management The Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management is an accelerated online degree completion program offered by the Business Department. The program provides a combined economics and accounting curriculum to prepare students for responsible positions in financial management. Students gain a thorough understanding of economic principles and accounting practices that will provide them with decision making skills based on the ethical, social, and legal requirements of financial analysis and management.
Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Management The Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Management is an accelerated online degree completion program offered by the Health Sciences and Services Department. The program focuses on the acquisition of skills and knowledge in the following areas: examination and practice of the skills needed to deal effectively with management, staff, and consumers, both inside and outside of the health care environment; communication and negotiation skills; knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory environments that impact health care; and ability to assess research regarding the impact of current health care management and policy issues.
Bachelor of Arts in Human Performance Management The Bachelor of Arts in Human Performance Management is an accelerated online degree completion program offered by the Department of Psychology. The program emphasizes the theory and practical application of Human Resource Management. Students learn the behavioral, economic, and legal implications of workforce management and the crucial role an effective workforce plays in any organization. The degree prepares students for a variety of positions that oversee the hiring process, contracts, benefits, fair employment practices, and conflict resolution in small and large organizations.
Bachelor of Arts in Organization Dynamics The Bachelor of Arts in Organization Dynamics is an accelerated online degree completion program offered by the Business Department. The program is taught with an emphasis on business and managerial concepts. In addition to a solid foundation in accounting, finance, human resources, and managerial concepts, the program focuses on communication and interpersonal skills and stresses analytical, problem-solving, decision-making abilities.
Bachelor of Arts in Emergency Planning and Management The Bachelor of Arts in Emergency Planning and Management is an accelerated online degree completion program offered by the Professional Studies Department. The program focuses on the demand for trained leaders and professionals who can respond to the frequent natural and man-made disasters in the United States and abroad, as well as to the constant threats of terrorism. The program focuses on the acquisition of skills and knowledge in the areas of emergency management systems; risk analysis and threat assessment; disaster management and community planning; government structures for crisis management; public relations; crisis communications; and the ethical, legal, political, organizational, and financial aspects of emergency management. A capstone course will require students to draw on their knowledge of the principles of the field to develop a comprehensive emergency management plan that meets state and federal standards.
