Secondary Education Certification Requirements

Students who are preparing to teach in secondary school settings are required to have a field of concentration in one of the following academic subject areas:

Required Courses

The following courses are incorporated into the subject area degree requirements for secondary certification. Students must receive a satisfactory score on the Secondary Education Praxis Examinations to be eligible for teacher certification.
