Bachelors of Music (B.Mus.)

Programs of concentration in music education are offered to prepare students for teaching music from kindergarten through grade 12, and for certification in music therapy.

 

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.)

The B.S.N is an upper-division program offered for registered nurses only. Click here to apply for an accelerated degree completion program.

Every student is responsible for knowing the requirements for the degree being sought and for arranging the program of study accordingly.

School Nurse Certification: Students may combine with the BSN the Pennsylvania Department of Education School Nurse Certification.

To fulfill Immaculata's objectives as a Catholic liberal arts college, students studying for the baccalaureate degree must complete the following liberal arts program:

Mathematics Requirement: Students in the College of Undergraduate Studies must satisfy the competencies of Mathematics 101-102 by test, online self-study, or by taking the courses which will then count toward degree requirements.* This requirement applies to any student who enters the college with fewer than 30 credits. Students entering the college with more than 30 credits will fulfill an additional 3 credits in general humanities in lieu of Liberal Arts through Special Topics of PHI100.**ESL 215, 220 satisfies this requirement for foreign students.

In addition to the 54 academic hours listed above, four contact hours (with the possibility of a three-fourth waiver) are required in physical education for students in the College of Undergraduate Studies.
