Faculty/Staff Proposal Steps
- Preliminary discussion with vice president for institutional advancement for institution-wide projects or Sister Marie Anselm Cooper for departmental projects and individual faculty research.
- Submit a one- to two-page abstract of project to Sister Marie Cooper.
The abstract should include:
- rationale for the project,
- goals,
- budget and timelines.
A copy of the abstract accompanied by the cover sheet (PDF file
) will
be submitted to vice president for student affairs for consideration. The fwill send the abstract to Sister Patricia Fadden for
final approval. -
After approval, write the proposal. The Office of Institutional Advancement or the Office of Sponsored Research will assist in preparation and in finalizing the proposal and targeting prospective donors.
- Submit the proposal on disk to Sister Marie Cooper for final editing and typing.
- Decide on funding sources.
- Proposal distribution by Office of Institutional Advancement and/or Office of Sponsored Research.
- Follow-up by Office of Institutional Advancement or Office of Sponsored Research for decisions of additional funding sources.
- Ongoing communication with faculty/staff member.
