By 2010, staffed by a part-time director and one part-time assistant, the office will facilitate the submission of at least one dozen external proposals per year, with ongoing mentored pilot research supported by the indirect costs from funded proposals. It will provide training to faculty and students across the three colleges in opportunity searches, grantsmanship, and the responsible conduct of research.
