ORIENTATION MISSION
Immaculata University, a Catholic faith-based institution, welcomes new students to become members of our academic community. The purpose of our Orientation is to empower students with a sense of tradition, leadership, service, confidence, scholarship, and loyalty. Our comprehensive and collaborative orientation will provide students with the opportunity to expand intellectually and socially in a nurturing enviroment. Students can expect the following outcomes from active participation in the New Student Orientation.
- Each student will gain a sense of familiarity and comfort with the University through interaction with fellow classmates, faculty, staff, and administration.
- Students will learn about the expectations of the University regarding academic responsibility, tradition, honesty, citizenship, community service, and leadership.
- Students will be exposed to all facets of campus life including academics, campus services, social and extra-curricular activities and will begin to find thier place in the Immaculata University community.
- Students will be given the opportunity to meet advisors and register for Fall classes.
- Family members will gain an understanding of the adjustments students face in their transition to college.
