ORIENTATION MISSION

Immaculata University, a Catholic faith-based institution, welcomes new students to become members of our academic community. The purpose of our Orientation is to empower students with a sense of tradition, leadership, service, confidence, scholarship, and loyalty. Our comprehensive and collaborative orientation will provide students with the opportunity to expand intellectually and socially in a nurturing enviroment. Students can expect the following outcomes from active participation in the New Student Orientation.

  1. Each student will gain a sense of familiarity and comfort with the University through interaction with fellow classmates, faculty, staff, and administration.
  2. Students will learn about the expectations of the University regarding academic responsibility, tradition, honesty, citizenship, community service, and leadership.
  3. Students will be exposed to all facets of campus life including academics, campus services, social and extra-curricular activities and will begin to find thier place in the Immaculata University community.
  4. Students will be given the opportunity to meet advisors and register for Fall classes.
  5. Family members will gain an understanding of the adjustments students face in their transition to college.
