Essick Selected To The PAC Weekly Honor Roll
Freshman Megan Essick was selected to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Weekly Honor Roll for women's tennis for the week ending October 21. It was the second time this season she has earned the distinction.
Essick produced a mark of 2-0 at #2 singles and a 2-0 record at #1 doubles for the week. She won 6-2, 6-0 vs. Kristy Bannon of Rosemont College on October 15 and totaled a 6-2, 6-0, victory over Ashley Averbach of Penn State - Berks on October 17.
In doubles action, Essick, along with junior Margaret Kelley, defeated the tandem of Priyanka Reddy and Bannon from Rosemont 8-6 and collected an 8-4 win over Nicole Cresswell and Bannon of Penn State - Berks.
Essick recorded a mark of 8-6 at #1 singles and a record of 2-0 at #2 singles. In doubles action, Essick, along with Kelley, registered a mark of 9-3 at #1 doubles.
Immaculata Falls In Season Finale

In doubles action, Essick, along with junior Margaret Kelley, defeated the tandem of Andrea Croucher and Jocelyn Palmer from Philly Bible 8-0. They also earned an 8-4 victory over Danielle Klim and Mazen from Arcadia.
For the year, Essick has totaled a mark of 5-2 at #1 singles and a record of 3-4 at #1 doubles.

Kelley Named To Push The Rock All-Sportsmanship Team
Sophomore Margaret Kelley was named to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Push the Rock Sportsmanship Team. The award was announced on October 23, in Aston, PA.
Kelley, who along with senior Lauren Piliero, advanced to the PAC Championships, finished the season with an overall singles mark of 6-7 and an overall doubles record of 6-8. Kelley and Piliero fell 8-1 in the first round of #1 doubles action at the PAC Championships on October 20.

The championships are being held on Friday, October 20 and Sunday, October 22, at the West End Racquet Club in Allentown, PA.
The Mighty Macs duo of Kelley and Piliero lost 8-1 to the tandem of Priyanka Reddy and Kristy Bannon from Rosemont College at #1 doubles. Kelley and Piliero finished the season with a mark of 6-8 at #1 doubles.
