Dolores Martino
Head Coach
Dolores Martino has completed her first season as head coach of the Immaculata University women's softball team in 2007. The Mighty Macs collected a record of 4-21-1 overall and 4-18 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) last season.
Sophomore Val Rutt-Guerriere tied for the team lead in RBI (16) and tied for second in hits (24). She appeared in two game on the mound for the Mighty Macs and allowed only one run in three innings. For her efforts, she was named Honorable Mention All-PAC. Off the field, 10 players, including Rutt-Guerriere, were selected to the All-PAC Academic Team.
Martino joined the Mighty Macs after a 13-year stint as the head softball coach at Archbishop Prendergrast High School. During her tenure, she led Prendie to seven Catholic League Southern Division Championships.
Martino graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Joseph's University and received a Master's of Education in Community/Rehabilitation from Temple University.
Martino is the Associate Dean of Off Campus Centers at Delaware County Community College.
