Gaburo Named Second Team All-PAC

Immaculata University's Jessica Gaburo has been named a Second Team All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) honoree for women’s soccer. The award was announced on Tuesday, November 6 in Aston, PA.

The freshman goalie recorded 122 saves, a 2.45 goals against average and compiled five shutouts in her rookie season. Joining Gaburo is fellow freshman Colleen Jennings, who received Honorable Mention All-PAC honors. She led her team in both points and goals and was sixth in the conference for goals (13), assists (6), and points (32). Jennings was also selected to the PAC Weekly Honor Roll three consecutive times this season.

Sophomore Shana Kehoe was selected to the Push the Rock All-Sportsmanship team.

Also adding to the post season awards is senior defender Charlene Henry who was selected to the 2007 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women’s Soccer Team with a GPA of 3.84 in the area of Exercise Science.

The Mighty Macs finished the 2007-08 season with a record of 9-9 overall and a mark of 3-7 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC).
