Fran Tacconelli
Head Coach
Fran Tacconelli enters his fourth season as head coach of the Immaculata University women's soccer team in 2007. Last season, the Mighty Macs registered a mark of 7-13 overall, including four wins in their last five games. They also posted a record of 1-9 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC).
Tacconelli carries a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "A" License, which he received at the University of South Florida in 1982. He has coached at the youth, high school and collegiate levels. Tacconelli founded the Unionville - Chadds Ford Soccer Association, presently the Southern Chester County Soccer Association.
Tacconelli received a bachelor of science degree in both education and business from West Chester University in 1974. He completed his education with MEd. in Counseling from West Chester in 1977.
Tacconelli's coaching resume includes state cup wins in various age groups in Pennsylvania and Florida. He served as the Florida Youth Soccer Association State Coach for girls in the 80's. He has coached state players at the regional level for advancement to the regional team and national player pool in the 80's. Tacconelli has also instructed U.S.S.F. state and national coaching courses.

Mike DeStefano
Assistant Coach
Mike DeStefano enters his fourth season as assistant coach of the Immaculata University women's soccer team in 2007.
DeStefano holds Level 1 and 2 goalkeeping certificates from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). He also earned an "E" level coaching certificate from the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association.
DeStefano was awarded the Philadelphia Old Timers Soccer Association Coach of the Year honor in 2002. He has over 15 years of coaching experience, including time at Friends Select High School.
DeStefano received an Associate Degree from the Community College of Philadelphia in Education.
He resides in Philadelphia.
