
Stacy Mengel
Stacy Mengel enters his first season as head coach of the Immaculata University women's field hockey team. She takes over a squad that produced a mark of 4-14 overall and a record of 3-8 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC).
Mengel joins Immaculata after serving as head field hockey coach at Bishop Shanahan High School for two years. Prior to that, she was the assistant field hockey coach at Bishop Shanahan. Mengel also serves as the head coach of the U-16 Vipers Field Hockey Club team.
“I am very excited to coach field hockey at Immaculata,” Mengel explained, “I look forward to working with a talented group of student-athletes and a very supportive administration.”
Prior to her arrival at Bishop Shanahan, Mengel was an assistant coach at Avon Grove High School. She also served as an assistant softball coach at Avon Grove. The 1998 graduate of Lock Haven University, who was a member of the Eagles’ field hockey team for four seasons, was the head coach at Eisenhower Middle School during the 2000 season.
Assistant Coach
Jennifer McCoy
Jennifer McCoy enters his first season as assistant coach of the Immaculata University women's field hockey team.
McCoy joins the Mighty Macs after serving as the head field hockey coach at Villa Joseph Marie High School. McCoy was four-year player at the University of Scranton where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2005. She was named a tri-capatin and received Second Team All-Freedom Conference honors her senior season. McCoy was also a member of a select team comprised of Division III athletes that traveled to Italy and Switzerland.
McCoy is currently a Critical Care Associate in the ICU at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
